Would you like a spot of tea?

Ummm… so please don’t kill me when you hear this but, ummmm…. Josiah went to his first tea party today :o I know.  It was his first and most likely his last.  He won’t remember sitting around a table of linen and lace with necklaces and tiny finger foods on the table.  But, it’s ok because he had a good time.  You know why?   Because, there was food!  Oh ya!  The boy loved the scones and the fruit cups, and the red velvet cakes.  Atleast, he got to wear a camo hat for a bit!

All the kids at the party.  Boys def. outnumber the girls.  Birthday girl in the middle.

So, afterward we felt like we didn’t get enough food (ya right) and decided to head down to the taco truck and get a meal with the Caskeys and Tammy.  So, we all loaded up and got some tacos and quesadillas filled with carnitas, carne asada, and pollo asada.  It was sooo yummy.  Since, we were in that part of town we decided to make a quick stop at the mexican market and pick up some stuff.  We got chili suckers, chorizo, pan, and a kilo of mate.  Josiah was whining in the car because he saw me eating (usual) and so I let him try my chili sucker.  He liked it sooo much he got his own!

    Hey Josiah,
Every good tea party needs some gentlemen! Thanks for being one for us today! Contrary to popular belief, tea parties do have large amounts of food!
I’ve got a new addiction now – to taco trucks. . . thanks you guys! YUM! I finished mine along with a piece of red velvet cake after I put Elijah and Merry down for their naps this afternoon!
