New Stuff!
Well, this past Friday I had my doctor’s appointment. Everything is fine the heartbeat was 151. Which is great. Richard was able to go with me and hear the heartbeat for the first time. We did get a date for the BIG ultrasound. It’s…… Feb. 20th. WE are really looking forward to finding out what Baby Coronado will be.
Richard was able to stay home today because there was no work but tonight we were having mexican food so we decided to make out own flour tortillas while the babies were sleeping. The first ones were soooo thick but the other ones were alot better. Ohhh! They tasted so good. I also made homemade guacamole for the first time and it was soooooooo good. Josiah enjoyed sucking the guacamole off the chips and he ate a whole burrito and some of my beans and rice. My guys really enjoyed their meal and the whole meal both kepts saying, “Mmmmmmmmm…..”

Josiah has been so silly lately. In the bathtub he loves to walk his little toys down the side of the tub. He has a thing for wearing EVERYTHING as scarves around his neck. He loves to give random kisses and to jump on you to give him a piggy back ride. Also, he likes to sit himself in my lap with a book so that I’ll read to him. He says “this” and “here” He walks around with the Staten’s bottle and tries to feed it to his animals or mommy and daddy. He likes to sing “doot, doot, doot, doot” He makes me smile constantly and brightens my day all day long.
We’re BAAACK!!!
Well, we arrived last Monday morning at 3 AM. It was a long drive but we made it. We ended up getting $400 in tickets from Delta for switching planes voluntarily because our plane was full. We ended getting back almost 2 hours EARLIER! So, YA! Josiah had lots and lots of fun getting spoiled by all his grandmas with love and lots of candy. We got to celebrate 2 more Christmas’ with our families and Josiah got lots of cool stuff. Richard and I took $20 and went to the slots which were LAMO!!! We lost everything in like 20 minutes. That’ll be the last time we waste our money there. On the bright side the “O” show was so awesome! I definately see why people spend so much to see those shows. Josiah really enjoyed the animals at Nana and Papas. The cow tried to lick us with his long tongue. Rich went with my dad butchering and he got to see where menudo comes from. He said that it won’t hinder him from partaking in it’s goodness. We did lots of other things while we were there.
Park Days!
On New Years Day we had it all planned to go to the bridge and walk the several miles across both ways. But, it suddenly turned quite chilly and we knew it would be even worse on top of the bridge. So, I got the great idea to go to this really cool park overlooking the bay. So, we packed up and headed out.

Swings are fun!
This thing was so cool! You sit in it and the way it’s tilted makes it go round and round and makes you so dizzy!
Pretty much loved this thing too! It goes around and around!
LOVE <3
Then we went to this really cool fountain that Josiah LOVED and he wanted to go in. I let him go in as far as he wanted by the time the water covered his shoes he was over it!
Happy 2008!
Good morning all! Praise God for a new year and another year to go through his Word and learn. So, I pretty much made my husband the happiest man of 2008. Chris Mitchell (associate pastor) gave me a springform pan and that pretty much left me with little excuses to bake Richard a cheesecake. So, I went to the store got the ingredients and an electric hand mixer and did the deed. With the exception of the presentation…it was sooooo good! Richard says we can save alot of money if all I make is cheesecake for every meal. I was a turtle cheesecake and it was worth the effort. I guess despite my claiming that “I can’t bake but I can cook” I guess I have no excuse because I can bake.
We rang in the new year by eating enchilada casserole, homemade beans, and rice. Chris came over for dessert and we played scattegories til midnight. It was the FIRST new years that Rich and I have known each other that we actually made it til midnight. Well, I better go because I have my Bible study meeting this morning. Once again Happy New Year. Love, The Coronados
