Coronado’s Crown

Well, here I am in all my glory.  I was 36 weeks and 2 days in this picture.  Only 4 more weeks to go or less!  I had a dr.’s appt on Monday and I asked the doctor that at my July 17th appointment if I could get my membranes stripped and she said if conditions were right then I could.  I had them done with Josiah the day after my due date and the next day i had him.  I’m not in any hurry to have her before my due date but I’d like my parents to see her for a few days while they are here.  I was looking through some pictures from my pregnancy with Josiah.  This pic is when I was 38 weeks pregnant.  I think I’m bigger now at 36 weeks than with Josiah.

June 9th Rachael my sister in law had her 2nd baby boy Diego Ramirez.  Her first son is 4 months younger than Josiah and this one will be 1 month older than Katarina. 

Well, this is the most recent picture taken last Friday at 34 weeks.  Everything is going well but I’m hot and sweaty and hope the next 5 weeks go by fast.  I can’t wait until our little girl is here.  This weekend the church is throwing me a second shower and I’m way excited for that!  Dresses!!!

Josiah went to chuckee cheese for the first time with his MOPS group.  It was the last meeting of the year until September.  He was very shy at first but as soon as the Caskeys showed up he warmed up.

Josiah and I made our treck out west from May 28th to June 3. It was pretty decent trip considering I was 33 weeks pregnant alone with a toddler.  I definately worked outside my comfort zone by asking for help in the airport if I needed it.  The official reason we went was for my brother Aaron’s high school graduation.  My plane landed at 3:21 pm in LAX and his graduation started at 6 pm we were only about 30 min late because we had to stop for some food.  But, we made it for the important part of the 2 hour ceremony. 

The next day we spent time visiting with the grandparents.  Josiah and Hailey had fun with the animals at Nana and Papas ranch.  They even got to get eggs from the hen house.

On Saturday of my visit my step mom and dad threw me my first baby shower.  It was so fun seeing all that pink!
